The purpose of the Mission Team is to partner with Jesus in reaching out to others with the love and grace of God, and to bring hope and healing to broken hearts and places, working on behalf of the poor, vulnerable and needy, and responding to the social issues, problems and needs of our local community.

We currently partner with the following organizations:
Angel Tree/Pitt County Foster Care
The members of Peace Church sponsor an Angel Tree each year for children in the foster care
system in Pitt County. Gifts are provided for children in need of some holiday cheer.
Community Crossroads
Each month the members of the church serve a meal at Community Crossroads Center.
Food Bank of Eastern NC
The members of Peace donate items every week to
the Food Bank distribution center.
Stop Human Trafficking -North Carolina
Peace supports the Fair-Trade Markets onsite and donates to the cause.
Grifton School (Pitt County Schools)
Peace has adopted the school to provide supplies for the teacher's resource closet
and ongoing support to students.
Domestic Violence Center
Donations are given annually to support programs.
Hope Farms
Donations are given annually to support programs.
LuminAid
Doctors Without Borders
Presbyterian Disaster Relief
Now helping the communities in need in Maui
Rise Against Hunger
Rise Against Hunger Meal Packaging Event is held annually.
Members of the church donated and packed more than $6,000 dollars' worth
of meals for those in need this past year.
This has been a mission of Peace Church for more than 20 years.
